With Valentine's Day right by the corner,Mothers Day coming soon and Easter in a couple of months, there are endless excuses for beautiful Jewelry pieces.

3D Pearl necklace

                                        Worn as a three layer necklace,with the pearls mounted
                                        on each other.

                                         Worn as a side drop layer necklace with the brooch by the side
                                          and a twisted pearl all the way to the back

This necklace consist of rice shape - peacock fresh water pearl, peach tear drop fresh water pearl ,tiny peacock pearls, sterling silver brooch and sterling silver clasp.

Making this necklace is a big break through as I tried making it for a friend's wedding but for some reason it proofed to be a difficult task.I made three attempts and on each attempt something seemed to be missing when I look at the finished piece.So I woke up early one beautiful morning, with my prince and his dad still asleep everywhere was quiet, laid all my materials on the table and started to put everything together and before I knew it -  I had a full beautiful wearable necklace. It was Amazing.

I'm really glad to share the piece with you and I call it "Steps"

You got it all twisted

From a chunky white grade "A" coral bead to fresh water pearl to swarovski crystal bicone to fibre optic - bead to rough grey glass bead, need I not forget the stunning Sterling silver findings, I bet you nothing says royalty like this: "Twisted Precious Necklace".

The idea behind this elegant piece was to make something very loud but yet sophisticated - not too edgy - .  and yet modern design.. To my greatest delight I saw a picture of Princess Diana wearing this twisted Pearl necklace and that did it for me.

I was struck by inspiration lighting different ideas running through my mind, I knew I had to do something creative,unique and attractive so I combined different beads together and used my creative instincts to choose what compliments each other the most and a new necklace was born, how wonderful.

My Royalty Collection

Being a blog Virgin I hope this is a good opening line.This is a sneak peak into my first ever collection since I started making beaded jewellery. I have always made one jewellery at a time for a particular event but never shared it with the world. 
So now I proudly Present to the world a piece called "Iyunade" meaning the "The bead of Royalty".

This piece is made with orange faceted coral beads, gold filled accessories, gold silk cord and no clasp.


I know its was strange when I wrote no clasp but instead it has an adjustable slip knot which is the in thing in jewellery making. All  celebrities mostly wear a slip knot jewellery - here is a picture below.This piece is combination of both old and new techniques and making it was as exciting as I always am when putting pieces together.
